Let’s Brighten up the 2023 Holidays with the Third Annual Holiday Lights Contest!

The Monroe Festivals & Events Subcommittee is hosting the 2023 Monroe Holiday Lights Contest! Show off your holiday light decorating skills and festive spirit! Participants are encouraged to be original, colorful and imaginative with their use of lights, seasonal characters, scenes and decorations.

Contest Entry Information
– Entry Forms: Available at Monroe City Hall, 664 Commercial St., Monroe, OR 97456 or request an entry form via email at: festivalsandevents@ci.monroe.or.us
– Entry Form Deadline: Return to Monroe City Hall by Friday, December 8, 2023 at 4 p.m.

Contest Guidelines
– Holiday decorations must be available and lit up from Saturday, December 9, 2023 through Saturday, December 16, 2023.
– Holiday decorations must be visible from a city street or road.
– Participants shall be residents of Monroe, Oregon.
– Judging will take place the second week of December by the Monroe Festivals & Events Subcommittee.
– Winners will be announced at the Monroe City Council Meeting on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. In addition, the news will be shared via social media and the City of Monroe website!

Contest Prizes
– First Prize: $100 Gift Card to a local Monroe restaurant
– Second Prize: $50 Gift Card to a local Monroe restaurant
– Third Prize: Festival Holiday Basket
